Letter From Principal
Currajong is a positive choice for the education of your child. Staff will provide as many opportunities as possible to keep you informed of your child's progress. In return there is an expectation that you support our policies and practices and inform us of any situations or changes at home which affect your child at school. There is also an expectation that both parents attend reviews and meetings as requested.
A sound academic curriculum is provided at all year levels and a high level of importance attached to the development of social competencies. Staff work with students toward the building of positive relationships with peers and adults as well as awareness of, and sensitivity to, the feelings and preferences of others.
Children have the right to be educated and cared for by adults who are trustworthy and empathic, yet demanding in terms of school work and behaviour so that innate potential may be realised.
I am fortunate in being able to draw upon a very high level of staff expertise to achieve the best for your child. I very much look forward to working with you.
Vision, Mission & Goals
To transform the lives of children experiencing social, emotional, behavioural disorders.
