Term 1 Celebration of Learning

Apr 5, 2022

We know at Currajong that celebrating success is just as important as achieving success, as it is essential to students’ self-esteem and confidence. Whether your child has achieved a small or big goal, recognising and celebrating what they have achieved offers them a sense of accomplishment and fosters confidence.

Celebrations of learning are more than a display of student work. The celebrations, compel students to reflect on and articulate what they have learned, how they learned, questions they answered, research they conducted, and areas of strength and struggles.

On Tuesday 5th April, we had our Term 1 celebration of learning. I would like to thank all the staff and students for putting the celebrations of learning together and remaining at school after hours to showcase the wonderful things our students have been learning and achieved during Term1. It was also great to be able to have our families and school community coming back into the school and making the time to come and see what their child/ren have been learning and taking the time to meet and get to know other parents and families in the school.
