Welcome ToThe Currajong School
Respect • Responsibility • Resilience
All staff and students, focused on this year’s theme that asks us all to continue to Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! for systemic change and to keep rallying around our communities. Whether it’s supporting proper environmental, cultural and heritage protections, Constitutional change, a comprehensive process of truth-telling, working towards treaties, or calling out racism—we must do it together. At Currajong we believe that it is important to educate our students about this information, allow our students the autonomy to choose how they can Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!
Reconciliation Week, a week for all to learn about the shared histories, cultures, and achievements of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and to explore how we each individually and as a community can contribute towards achieving reconciliation for all Australians.
Our newest staff member, Milo, our therapy dog, has been welcomed to The Currajong School community with open arms.
Over the past two years with the pandemic, schools have been limited to host undergraduate teachers for teaching rounds.
